Know Your Coffee

Light Roast Coffee Details

Light Roast

Roasted for the shortest amount of time, light roast beans retain a higher acidity, resulting in a bright, nuanced flavor with hints of fruit and floral notes. The body is lighter, with a subtle sweetness. Light roasts are preferred by those who appreciate the natural characteristics of the bean origin.

Medium Roast Coffee Details

Medium Roast

This is the most popular roast level, striking a balance between acidity and bitterness. The beans develop a richer, fuller body with a smoother taste. Notes of caramel, chocolate, and nuttiness often emerge. Medium roast coffees are versatile and work well for a variety of brewing methods.

Dark Roast Coffee Details

Dark Roast

Roasted for the longest duration, dark roast beans are characterized by a bold, intense flavor with a lower acidity. The caramelization process creates a smoky, bittersweet taste with notes of dark chocolate and char. They have a heavier body and are often preferred by those who enjoy a stronger brew.

Exclusively drinking Jacobs!

Since I was introduced to Jacobs coffee during a European vacation in 2014, I've not purchased another brand! Not only is it smooth and non-acidic, I use it for making excellent espressos. I've had countless friends inquire about my "incredible" coffee. I've always drank imported coffees, but this is top of the list.

Best Coffee Ever

I consider myself a coffee snob, having had coffee throughout Europe and most recently in Aurba. There I was introduced to Douwe Egberts, which I continued to purchase and drink after I returned home to the US. A dutch friend was familar with DE but suggested I try Jacobs Coffee. That was the end of drinking anything other than Jacobs in our home. It is both rich and smooth with no acidic bitter taste. The Decaf is also the best I've tasted, anywhere. The folks at EnjoyBetterCoffee have been super providing fast and accurate service with the best prices anywhere.
