Food has always been a way of expressing care, from slow-cooked stews to shared desserts. Heart-shaped pasta takes that expression one step further. It lets the food say exactly what you feel, even before the first bite.

Whether you’re cooking for a partner, a friend, or yourself, this pasta makes a simple dinner feel special and keeps the focus on what matters: connection, flavor, and shared moments around the table.

Make this Valentine’s Day pasta worth remembering. ❤️🍝

Ingredients

  • 8–10 oz Antichi Poderi heart-shaped pasta

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed Italian tomatoes

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta
Bring salted water to a boil and cook heart pasta according to package directions (about 9–10 minutes). Drain and set aside.

  2. Make the sauce
In a warm skillet, heat olive oil and gently sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add crushed tomatoes, then season with salt and pepper. Let simmer 10–15 minutes.

  3. Bring it together
Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce. Add fresh basil leaves and finish with a generous grating of cheese.

  4. Serve with love
Plate the hearts and share. Pair with a crisp salad and a glass of wine (or coffee if that’s your style!).
